1st Home Study Meeting - Complete

Today, Tony and I drove over to the Lifeline offices and had our first Homestudy visit meeting.  It took 2 hours and really consisted of an interview about our home life, marriage, how we handle things in our home, etc.  There were quite a few interesting questions!   Those two hours flew by - I was surprised when our Case Worker said we were finished and then I checked the time to see that 2 full hours had passed!

We now know the next few steps that we need to complete.  We each have to write an autobiography of sorts and were given two pages of questions that we need to cover in it!  While I'm pretty sure it won't take me long, Tony will probably agonize through this one. We can't schedule our next meeting until we have it done, so I'm hoping he will work on this in the next few days so we can get it sent in this week.

We also have to begin Hague training ($175) and International Adoption Clinic training ($150).  We will complete these online for convenience.  We also have to read a book and answer questions.  The cost of these classes are a little daunting but this is one step in the process that I'm hoping will be extremely beneficial for us!

Thanks for your continued support through prayer.  We definetly appreciate it.  If you  need any  wooden trivets, potholders, stained glass panels or pendants please let us know!

We are also hoping to be able to work out some details for hosting a spaghetti dinner!
